Cebu Pacific receives third A320neo of 2026 as NEO share reaches 77%

Cebu Pacific has taken delivery of its third Airbus A320neo of 2026, the airline said, continuing its replacement of older jets. The aircraft arrived at Manila on September 11, 2026, from Airbus's Tianjin facility in China.

It is the third of four A320neos due to the Philippine carrier this year. By the end of 2026, Cebu Pacific expects seven NEO aircraft in total, counting both the A320 and A321 versions.

NEO aircraft now make up 77% of the airline's jet fleet. Cebu Pacific's fleet comprises 14 Airbus A330s, 27 Airbus A321s, 38 Airbus A320s and 20 ATR turboprops. The carrier says it operates one of the world's youngest fleets and serves more Philippine domestic and international destinations than any other airline in the country.

President and Chief Commercial Officer Xander Lao said the delivery fits the airline's push to add more fuel-efficient aircraft that give it greater flexibility across its network. Lao said the newer planes let the carrier keep improving its fleet while air travel stays within reach for more Filipinos.

Airbus says NEO aircraft use 15% to 20% less fuel per flight than the models they replace and are considerably quieter, which the airline frames as both an environmental and a cost benefit.
