Cockroaches found in Air France cabin on Amsterdam-Paris flight
Crew on an Air France flight from Amsterdam to Paris reported finding cockroaches in the passenger cabin mid-flight. The aircraft landed normally and ground teams were alerted to meet it.
Cabin crew on an Air France flight from Amsterdam to Paris found several cockroaches in the passenger cabin on Wednesday, the airline's flight operations report says.
Flight AF1341 left Amsterdam Airport Schiphol at 11:01 AM local time for Paris Charles de Gaulle. Soon after the aircraft reached cruising altitude, crew members spotted the insects in both the front and rear sections of the cabin and notified the flight deck.
The pilots alerted Air France flight operations on the ground and asked that maintenance and pest control teams be ready when the aircraft arrived in Paris.
The aircraft, an Airbus A320 registered as F-HEPC, landed at Paris CDG at 11:48 AM local time, about 45 minutes after departure, with no further incident.
