Delta honors $17 fare upgrade to Delta One on Atlanta-Seoul flight

A Delta Air Lines passenger paid $17.34 to upgrade from Premium Select to Delta One on a flight from Atlanta to Seoul, and the airline honored the fare. The upgrade was bought in July for the 15-hour route from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to Incheon International Airport. The price had swung from more than $2,600 down to $17.34, which suggested a possible booking error. The passenger expected a cancellation, but the reservation stayed intact and the trip was completed in Delta One.
