Dnata expands cargo control centre at Dubai airports

Dnata has expanded its cargo control centre at Dubai International Airport into what it calls a Cargo Integrated Command Centre, the company said. The upgraded facility now monitors and coordinates cargo activity across both Dubai International and Dubai World Central airports from a central point.

The centre draws operational data from multiple systems into a single view, refreshed every ten seconds, according to the company. Dnata said the aim is to spot bottlenecks earlier and adjust staffing and capacity more quickly in response.

During the 2025/26 financial year, the company handled more than one million tonnes of cargo across the two airports, along with 189,000 flight movements and 46,000 truck movements, Dnata said. No further details on the technology or investment involved were provided.
