EasyJet crews in Portugal have called strikes covering ten days across October and December, the airline said. Walkouts are planned for 2 to 6 October and 19 to 23 December.

At EasyJet's bases in Lisbon, Porto and Faro, roughly 500 planned flights could be affected during the first block alone. Minimum service levels for the stoppage are still to be negotiated.

For the five strike days shortly before Christmas, the carrier said it cannot yet put a figure on the impact. EasyJet expects notably more flights to be affected because of the larger seasonal flight schedule.
