Police met an EasyJet flight at London Gatwick Airport on Wednesday evening after a fight between two passengers and concerns raised by cabin crew.

The flight, U28394, was an Airbus A319 registered G-EZGO. It left Toulouse–Blagnac Airport in France at about 9:50 PM local time on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, bound for Gatwick.

On final approach, the flight crew contacted air traffic control and ground operations to request an urgent police response on landing. Cabin crew said a fight had broken out between two people seated together in row 24, and operational reports noted fresh bruising on at least one of those involved.

Crew members also raised safety concerns, saying they suspected one of the passengers was being coerced or transported against their will.

The pilots told ground handling staff not to attach air stairs to the rear door once the aircraft was parked, keeping those in row 24 contained until officers could board.

Authorities met the aircraft at the gate immediately after arrival. Officers went on board to deal with the situation and secure the passengers involved.
