Emden to gain new link to Esbjerg operated by Finnish firm Lygg
Emden Airport is to get a new service to Esbjerg in Denmark from 13 October 2026, organised by the Finnish company Lygg and flown with a 19-seat Let L-410.
Emden Airport will get a new connection to Esbjerg in Denmark, organised by the Finnish company Lygg. The service is due to start on 13 October 2026, operating on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
A 19-seat Let L-410, registration OK-FSA, will fly the route. According to the operator, the flights are aimed exclusively at business travellers, particularly those from the offshore, wind energy, maritime and energy sectors.
Depending on the timetable, the connection will be flown either non-stop or with a stop in Groningen in the Netherlands. Passengers stay on board during the intermediate stop.
The route is part of a North Sea network Lygg is building. It already includes the Esbjerg-Groningen service, and a link between Esbjerg and Stavanger in Norway is to be added in future.
