Ethiopian Airlines to add Nacala as third destination in Mozambique

Ethiopian Airlines will begin three weekly flights to the Mozambican port city of Nacala from late October 2026, making it the carrier's third destination in the country.

Ethiopian Airlines is adding Nacala to its network, with service scheduled to start on 27 October 2026. The Mozambican port city becomes the carrier's third destination in the country, alongside Maputo and Beira.

Flights will operate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, using a Boeing 737 Max 8.

The routing runs from Addis Ababa to Blantyre in Malawi first, then continues to Nacala. According to the airline, the return service leaves Nacala at 15:10 and arrives in Addis Ababa at 20:05.

Ethiopian Airlines says it serves more than 65 destinations in Africa.
