Frontier Airlines now offers an optional add-on called "Cancel for Any Reason." Passengers who buy it can cancel their booking for any reason up to 24 hours before departure, according to the airline.
Refunds depend on the variant chosen at purchase and can reach 100 percent of the ticket price, returned to the original form of payment. Customers pick between different refund levels.
The product comes from Hopper Technology Solutions and can be bought during booking on Frontier's website or app. The two companies already work together on a separate add-on that gives passengers alternative options when flights are disrupted.
