FAA proposes inspections of A220 fuel hose lines at Delta, Breeze and JetBlue
The FAA has proposed an airworthiness directive covering certain Airbus A220-100 and A220-300 aircraft in the United States, requiring checks of motive-flow flexible fuel lines.

The Federal Aviation Administration has proposed a new airworthiness directive covering certain Airbus A220-100 and A220-300 aircraft operated in the United States. The aircraft involved include those flown by Delta Air Lines, Breeze Airways and JetBlue.
The proposal would require inspections of motive-flow flexible fuel lines. According to the FAA, a hose that was installed incorrectly can twist, which could lead to abrasion and a fuel leak.
The agency said the condition could create a fire risk, because electrical harness connectors sit close to the fuel line. The FAA has published the proposed rule.
