Iran Air is considering restarting service between Tehran and Kuala Lumpur after an extended suspension, with no date or schedule settled yet.

Iran Air is considering restarting flights between Tehran and Kuala Lumpur after the route was suspended for an extended period. Representatives of the Iranian national carrier met Malaysia's ambassador to discuss what a restart would require, along with the difficulties that remain.
The airline sees the sector as part of a wider effort to rebuild its international network. The Malaysian ambassador offered support with the coordination a resumption would need.
Talks on preparations are set to continue. No date, timetable or intended aircraft type has been set out so far.
