My Freighter widens ground handling deal with Baltic Ground Services

My Freighter has expanded its cooperation with Baltic Ground Services (BGS), adding fuel supply and ground handling coverage at three airports after a competitive tender.

The agreement now covers Ostrava in the Czech Republic, Tallinn in Estonia and Riga in Latvia. BGS had already been supplying fuel to My Freighter at Tallinn Airport. The new deal extends that relationship to the other two hubs, according to the companies.

My Freighter said the wider arrangement supports its air cargo operations across the Baltic and Central European markets. It described combining fuel and ground services at the three locations as a way to improve reliability and efficiency for its network.

Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov, founder and chief executive of Centrum Holding, which is linked to My Freighter, said the expanded cooperation was strategically important as the carrier scales up operations in the region. BGS said it was pleased to keep serving My Freighter in Tallinn while adding Riga and Ostrava. The ground handler added that its aim is to offer consistent fueling and handling standards across its station network.

No financial terms of the deal were disclosed. The companies did not specify a start date for services at the newly added stations. They also gave no details on flight volumes or the aircraft types My Freighter operates through the three airports.
