New virtual carrier Fly 2 Galicia to have flights operated by Flyyo
Spanish start-up Fly 2 Galicia has named Flyyo, a Romanian wet-lease and charter brand, as the operator of its planned flights from Santiago de Compostela.
Fly 2 Galicia, a newly announced virtual airline, has named the carrier that will operate its flights. The routes will be flown by Flyyo, a brand belonging to a Romanian airline that specializes in wet-lease and charter operations, the company said.
The airline is set to begin operations on 1 December 2026 from Santiago de Compostela airport, with Zaragoza as its first destination.
Its planned network covers domestic points within Spain, including Alicante, Granada and Zaragoza. International destinations are said to include Brussels, Milan, Venice, Prague and Munich.
Frequencies will vary by route. Some services will run twice a week, others three times, according to the company.
No aircraft type has been specified for the operation at this stage, and further details on fares, aircraft and full schedules have not yet been released.
