Sepehran Airlines 737 returns to Mashhad after tyre failure and heavy vibration

A Sepehran Airlines Boeing 737 operating a domestic Iranian service from Mashhad to Kermanshah returned to Mashhad shortly after departure after a tyre on its landing gear failed, according to preliminary reports cited in accounts of the event.
The failure was followed by engine-related trouble, and the aircraft began to vibrate violently, the reports said. Footage recorded inside the cabin shows the interior shaking hard, with sections of the ceiling panels coming loose and falling into the aisle. Overhead luggage bins shook as the crew worked to keep order.
The flight crew declared an emergency and turned the 737 back toward Mashhad, where they carried out a precautionary landing. There was no further trouble after touchdown.
No passengers or crew were injured, authorities confirmed. Sepehran Airlines spokesperson Hassan Jafari said through Iranian state media that everyone on board disembarked safely and was later moved to another aircraft to continue the journey.
The cause of the tyre failure has not been established. The accounts describe the tyre problem as occurring during or shortly after departure, and the engine issues as following it.
