United Airlines Debuts Elevated Premium Cabin on Zurich-San Francisco Route
United Airlines has introduced its Boeing 787-9 with the new Elevated premium cabin on the Zurich–San Francisco route, marking the first use of the product from Switzerland.
United Airlines is now operating a Boeing 787-9 equipped with its new Elevated premium cabin on the route between Zurich and San Francisco. The deployment marks the first use of the upgraded product from Switzerland and the German-speaking region. The aircraft offers 99 premium seats in total, including eight new Polaris Studio suites with seats that are 25 percent larger and can be converted into beds. Sliding doors provide additional privacy. The service operates daily, with seasonal service currently scheduled through October 24, 2026. After a winter break, the route is set to resume on April 30, 2027.
