United Airlines has pushed back the relaunch of flights between Houston and Caracas for a second time. Bookings for the route are now closed for the period from October 6, 2026 through January 11, 2027, according to the routing data portal Aero Routes.

The first bookable flight from Houston is currently scheduled for January 12, 2027. United has said further changes to the timeline are still possible.

The airline originally planned to restart service to Venezuela on August 11, then moved the date to October 6. That date has now been dropped as well, in favor of the January 2027 target.

Once flights resume, United intends to operate the route daily using Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. No reason for the repeated delays was given in the available information.
