Volotea opens Berlin Brandenburg–Florence route
Volotea has begun nonstop service between Berlin Brandenburg and Florence, the first direct link between the Tuscan city and the German capital's airport. Flights will run up to twice a week with an Airbus A319.
Volotea now flies nonstop between Berlin Brandenburg Airport and Florence, the first direct link between the Tuscan capital and BER.
Flights run up to twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, using a 156-seat Airbus A319. Block time is a little under two hours.
Volotea timed the service around busy leisure periods: September and October, Christmas and New Year, and from late March, when the summer timetable begins.
The route marks Volotea's return to Berlin Brandenburg and adds to the nonstop Italian destinations available from the German capital region.
