ANA Star Wars R2-D2 ANA JET
JA873A was an ANA Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner wearing the R2-D2-themed Star Wars livery, the first of four ANA aircraft in the Star Wars Project collaboration with Disney/Lucasfilm. Delivered from Boeing's Charleston plant in September 2015 to promote Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it flew the design for a decade. Following a farewell world tour, its final revenue flight as NH101 (Washington Dulles-Tokyo Haneda) on 6 August 2025 ended the livery as ANA's Disney agreement expired; the aircraft has since reverted to standard ANA branding.
