Xáat Kwáani (Salmon People)

Boeing 737-800 N559AS, formerly Alaska's 'Salmon-Thirty-Salmon' aircraft, was repainted in May 2023 with artwork by Alaska Native artist Crystal Kaakeeyáa Rose Demientieff Worl. Named Xáat Kwáani ('Salmon People' in Tlingit), it uses Northwest Coast-style art to depict the relationship between Alaska Native peoples and salmon, and is the first US airline aircraft named in an Alaska Native language.
