Retro 1980s
Austrian Airlines' retro livery on Airbus A320 OE-LBO revives the airline's 1980s branding, featuring an angular chevron arrow, a grey belly, and the traditional red-white-red Austrian flag on the tailfin. Painted in Bratislava and welcomed in Vienna on February 24, 2019, it was scheduled to operate its first commercial flight in the scheme, OS561 to Zurich, the following day. The original design dates from the era when Austrian re-entered intercontinental flying.
