Yam Dreaming
Qantas' Boeing 787-9 (VH-ZND) carries "Yam Dreaming," adapted by design house Balarinji from the late artist Emily Kame Kngwarreye's 1991 painting of the same name, incorporating the red Qantas tailfin into a design of white dots with red and orange tones. The design was applied during manufacture, ahead of the aircraft's March 2018 delivery to Alice Springs, and the jet went on to operate Qantas' inaugural nonstop Perth-London and Melbourne-San Francisco services.
