Ground personnel reported receiving push back clearance in conflict with another aircraft in their path. Push back was stopped.

why would the pushback driver given clearance to push if another plane that was pushed from [Gate] XX be in our path? I filed a report on this same type of situation and nobody did [EXPLETIVE] like normal cause safety is not a thing at the airport. me and other wingwalker stopped out plane cause [Gate] XX plane was in our path plus when that plane turned their jet blast would have injured us. Cause: the tower and the company do not care about safety when it comes to pushing planes. this happens a lot yet very little people do anything cause they know the behavior of the tower and the company do not care about safety and it shows every day.
