Synopsis
Ground personnel reported the supertug towing the aircraft lost control during the tow. Tug struck and damaged the aircraft.
Narrative
While towing an A320 from the hangar to [Gate] XX I felt the supertug or plane kind of slide in one direction and in an effort to gain control my driver wound up jackknifing. This occurred on Taxiway 1 between taxi lanes 2 and 3. The Supertug swung around hit and went through the belly of the plane and wound up on the opposite side. During the impact I hit my head on something (possibly the radio). Once we were stopped we checked on each other I tried to call the Ground Tower but the radios were not working at that moment. I tried to call the Ground Tower on my cell phone but was unable to connect and I then call the supervisor. Before the supervisor showed up an Operations officer showed up and questioned my driver and shortly after said the pavement was dry and conditions were clear. That clearly was not the case because for a stretch of the taxiway (not sure how much) there was a slippery substance that seemed to me like deicing fluid and temperatures were below freezing that made that section were slick.
