Synopsis

Ground personnel reported tractor towing aircraft was sliding due to taxiway conditions.

Narrative

The weather in ZZZ has been snow and ice this past weekend making towing aircraft unsafe. While towing Aircraft X there was sliding under the tires of the tractor used to tow the aircraft. Just this past weekend there was aircraft damage because of ice and a tug sliding.I realized I was sliding with the aircraft under tow because I wasn't gaining speed or able to steer for a brief period.Cause: The event occured due to request for the aircraft to be moved despite warnings that it is extremely unsafe. Suggestions: When management is told that something is unsafe by someone they take it more seriously because this could have ended in serious injury or worse.
