Narrative
During our descent into ZZZ; we were assigned 210 kts.; and experiencing moderate turbulence. We were well above our maneuvering speed and hit a pocket of turbulence strong enough to disconnect the Autopilot; caused continuous ignition to activate and cause a momentary stick shaker.I promptly regained control of the aircraft. Re-engaged the Autopilot and landed without further incident.Cause: Weather/Turbulence
Second reporter narrative
On decent into ZZZ moderate turbulence was present. First Officer (FO) was flying; we were assigned 210 kts.; 40 kts. over our minimum maneuvering speed. We encountered a pocket of turbulence that kicked the Autopilot off; caused cont ignition to fire and stick shaker. FO was already holding yoke when this happened. Shaker and cont immediately went away and he regained control of the aircraft promptly. Autopilot was engaged; flight landed without further incident. Cause: Weather/ turbulance
