ACFT WINGTIP DAMAGED AS PER NOTIFICATION 6 HRS LATER. NO ONE INCLUDING PLTS AND FLT ATTENDANTS SAW OR FELT ANY OBSTRUCTION. UNDER CTL OF SIGNAL MAN AT THE TIME. ARPT PERSONNEL ON SAME SIDE AS DAMAGE NOT PRESENT AT EMER STOP BUTTON. MECH ON PATCHCORD DID NOT NOTIFY CREW OF ANY PROBS. DAMAGE MAY HAVE OCCURRED AFTER ACFT PARKED.
