Accident Details
On 14 February 2015 at 13:10 LT, a Cessna 310C, registration HA-CIF, operated by ATO "Pegaz Pilot Academy", crashed near Ečka, Zrenjanin municipality. The flight was training in an aerobatic zone with circuit patterns and a go-around with one inoperative engine during takeoff. The phase of flight was the last go-around after takeoff.
Aircraft and Crew
The aircraft was a Cessna 310C (serial number 39016, built in 1959) owned by a private individual. There were two persons on board: a pilot-instructor and a pilot-student. Both suffered fatal injuries. No injuries were reported.
Sequence of Events
During the last go-around after takeoff, after reaching an actual height of approximately 100 m and a climb angle of about +5°, the aircraft suddenly rolled to the left while pitching down and losing height. According to witness statements, the aircraft performed a maneuver similar to a barrel roll to the left, then impacted the ground (plowed field) at a downward angle of approximately -60° with a slight left bank of about -5°. Immediately after impact, an explosion and fire occurred.

Weather conditions were sunny and clear, with air temperature 8.6–9.7°C, relative humidity 47–49%, visibility 20 km, and wind from the south-southeast at 2.9–3.3 m/s.
Damage and Injuries
The aircraft was completely destroyed due to impact with the ground and subsequent fire. Both pilots sustained fatal injuries; there were no other injuries.
