Accident Details
On 16 September 2023, at 11:30 local time, a Sila 450 light aircraft, registered as 9A-UOS, was involved in an accident near LDOV airport. The aircraft was conducting a local flight under General Aviation operations. There was one person on board, the pilot.
Sequence of Events
During the local flight within the airport zone, the aircraft crashed approximately 1 kilometer from the runway. The impact destroyed the aircraft.
Injuries and Damage
The pilot sustained one serious injury. There were no fatalities. The aircraft was destroyed.
Investigation
The investigating authority is the Air, Maritime and Railway Traffic Accident Investigation Agency. A decision on conducting a full investigation will be made after collecting additional information.
