During a dual instructional flight, the aircraft bounced on landing. The student pilot responded by applying full power. On the second touchdown, the aircraft swerved. Landing Gear Examination
Examination of the landing gear revealed a pre-existing fracture that covered one third of the thickness of the landing gear leg. No other contributing factors were identified in the examination.
