Flight and Weather Encounter
While en route, the pilot attempted to circumnavigate IFR weather conditions that existed along the intended route. The attempt was unsuccessful, and the pilot decided to return to Fort Lauderdale.
Descent and Landing
As the aircraft descended over the runway threshold, it was observed to rock its wings several times. This behavior suggested that the pilot was having difficulty controlling the aircraft in the gusty winds that were present at the time. Following touchdown, the pilot elected to perform a go-around.
Go-Around and Stall
The pilot initiated what appeared to be a steep climbing turn to the right. While still in a steep right bank, the aircraft climbed over a line of trees adjacent to the runway. At that point, the aircraft was observed to stall.
