Accident Details
The aircraft was destroyed during a takeoff accident from a private, rough, uphill grass airstrip. During the takeoff roll, the pilot perceived an imminent crash and turned to avoid a tree stump, resulting in a crash landing. The aircraft slid over logs in the roll-out area, causing the destruction of all landing gear and wings. The fuselage was twisted, and one propeller blade was slightly bent.
