Event Details
The pilot reported that during the takeoff roll, the engine appeared to lose power approximately 200 feet above ground level. Despite the perceived loss of power, the engine gauges indicated no anomalies. As the aircraft began to settle, the pilot decided to land on the runway overrun area rather than continue the climb.
Subsequent Taxiing and Damage
The aircraft was landed successfully on the overrun. However, while taxiing back across the overrun surface, the right main landing gear struck a hole, resulting in damage. Additionally, the nose landing gear collapsed during this maneuver.
Engine Examination
After the incident, an engine run-up was performed. The run-up revealed no evidence of any malfunction, indicating that the engine operated normally during the post-event test.
