Incident Description
A BE-A36 aircraft was holding short of Runway 18, with its position and strobe lights illuminated. A C-310 aircraft was taxiing to also hold short of the same runway. During taxi, the C-310 collided with the stationary BE-A36.
The pilot of the C-310 indicated that he did not see the BE-A36 because of what he described as a lot of lights in the vicinity. Measurement of the right main gear tire skidmark on the taxiway pavement showed approximately 40 feet of tire skidmarks leading to the point of impact with the BE-A36.
The collision occurred on the taxiway while the BE-A36 was holding short. No further information was provided.
