What happened
The aircraft departed the paved surface and veered toward the left side of a grass runway. As it moved into an area with taller grass, drag increased significantly on the left main landing gear. This resistance caused the aircraft to swerve further off its intended path until it struck a furrow in the ground. The impact forced the nose of the aircraft downward, resulting in a nose-over attitude.
