What happened
According to witness accounts, the aircraft experienced two bounces at a point approximately 1000 to 1500 feet down the runway. Following these bounces, the aircraft began to ground loop. During this maneuver, the nose pitched up sharply, causing the aircraft to climb steeply to an altitude of about 40 feet above ground level (AGL) before stalling.
As the stall developed, the right wing dropped, leading the aircraft into a spin. The aircraft then impacted the ground in a vertical attitude.
