During the landing flare on runway 26, at approximately 2 feet above ground level, a gust of wind was encountered from the aircraft's 7 o'clock position. The pilot reported being unable to maintain control of the aircraft, stating he was "just along for the ride." The aircraft touched down, slid off the runway, entered a ditch, collided with a berm, and nosed over.
