Incident Overview
An aircraft, registration N8CF, made an emergency landing in a wooded area after experiencing a dual engine failure approximately 50 minutes after takeoff. The fuel pressure gauge for the front engine displayed erratic and elevated readings. In response, the pilot decided to return to the departure airport.
Sequence of Events
While holding at 3,000 feet, the front engine failed, followed shortly by the rear engine. During the subsequent emergency descent, the aircraft collided with trees and was destroyed.
Damage
The aircraft was destroyed upon impact with trees.
Investigation
The investigation is ongoing. No probable cause has been determined at this time.
