A pilot reported that during the final approach, the crosswind correction was adequate. The wind was from 45 degrees to the right at approximately 15 knots, gusting to 20 knots. These conditions resulted in a 15-knot crosswind component during gusts.
Landing Sequence
During the flare, the aircraft ballooned and subsequently touched down in a right yaw. The pilot then added power and applied left rudder.
