Incident Overview
According to the pilot, the aircraft experienced engine roughness while climbing to cruise altitude. The engine did not quit at that time. The pilot decided to return to the departure airport for a precautionary landing.
Sequence of Events
While turning onto final approach, the engine stopped completely. The pilot attempted to glide to the runway. However, the altitude was insufficient to clear the high vegetation located at the approach end of the runway. The aircraft collided with the vegetation.

Following the collision with vegetation, the aircraft contacted the runway in a nose-down attitude and subsequently nosed over.
