Accident Summary
An aircraft was destroyed during a forced landing after experiencing a partial loss of power shortly after lifting off from a trailer. According to the accident report, the aircraft settled back onto the front of the trailer and subsequently rolled over. The engine continued to run after the rollover.
Pilot Statement
The pilot stated that during the pre-takeoff run-up, he observed a 175 RPM magneto drop. Despite this indication, he elected to proceed with the flight.
Investigation Findings
Investigation revealed that the No. 2 cylinder fuel injector nozzle was clogged. Additionally, the right magneto was found to be weak and not firing properly. The exact cause of the malfunction in the magneto could not be determined.
