What happened
The incident occurred during a landing attempt on an asphalt-surfaced runway designated as Runway 23. According to the pilot's report, the aircraft began to swerve to the left immediately upon touchdown. In an effort to counteract this deviation and maintain directional control, the pilot applied right aileron and rudder inputs.
Despite these corrective actions, the aircraft continued its turn off the paved surface. The pilot subsequently applied the wheel brakes in an attempt to stop the aircraft's momentum. As a result of the uncontrolled excursion and braking, the aircraft nosed over and came to rest on the side of the runway.

An examination of the event revealed no evidence of pre-impact mechanical issues. There were no reports of mechanical defects or malfunctions that contributed to the swerving or the subsequent nose-over.
