A pilot lost directional control during landing roll, drifting left of the runway. An attempt to avoid a hangar resulted in the left wing striking a parked Piper 140.

What happened

The pilot reported losing directional control while conducting the landing roll. As the aircraft drifted to the left side of the runway, the pilot applied power in an effort to execute a go-around. However, because the aircraft was already positioned to the left of the runway surface, this maneuver placed it on a collision course with nearby structures.

In an attempt to avoid colliding with a hangar, the pilot adjusted the flight path. During this avoidance maneuver, the left wing strut made contact with the wing of a parked Piper 140 aircraft. The impact caused the subject aircraft to come to a stop.
