Incident Overview
A series of conflicting ground movements involving multiple airplanes led to a collision on the taxiway. One airplane was taxiing out for departure while two others were landing. The sequence of events resulted in the outer four feet of a right wing being severed by a turning propeller of another airplane.
Sequence of Events
The first landing airplane touched down and executed a 180-degree turn on the runway to taxi back to the parking area. This maneuver forced the second landing airplane to perform a go-around. Meanwhile, the airplane that had been taxiing in stopped on the taxiway to allow the outbound airplane to pass. Both airplanes then came to a stop, each waiting for the other to move.
At the same time, another airplane landed and taxied in, navigating around one of the stopped airplanes. After passing, it made an abrupt left turn in front of the other stopped airplane.
Damage
