Incident Overview
During taxi for takeoff, the pilot attempted to navigate through a confined space between shade port poles and a storage building. The maneuver resulted in the right wingtip contacting the corner of the building, causing the airplane to pivot to the right. Subsequently, the propeller struck a barrel, and the nose of the airplane hit the side of the building.
Pilot Briefing and Building Placement
Prior to taxiing, the pilot had been briefed about the location of the storage building. The building had been positioned next to the taxiway several months before the incident by a construction company.
Sequence of Events
The pilot's attempt to pass through the narrow area led to a chain of impacts: first the right wingtip with the building corner, then the propeller with a barrel, and finally the nose with the building side. The aircraft pivoted to the right following the initial wingtip strike.
