Incident Description
During the takeoff roll, the captain applied takeoff EPR. Immediately, the nose of the aircraft lifted off the ground, and the aircraft began a 90-degree turn to the left of the runway centerline. The copilot applied full forward yoke and assisted the captain with braking, power lever reduction, and fuel reduction. Despite these actions, the aircraft continued its roll for approximately 50 feet before the nose lowered and the aircraft came to rest in the dirt adjacent to the runway.
