Aircraft Overruns Runway After High, Fast Approach (N91EE)

Incident Overview

During an approach to land at an airport, the pilot reported that the aircraft was "a little high, and about 15 knots fast." The aircraft touched down approximately two-fifths of the way down the runway. Despite efforts to stop, the aircraft could not be brought to a halt before the end of the runway. It subsequently skidded off the departure end and struck a ditch.
