Event Description
At the conclusion of an aerial application flight, the pilot deliberately stalled the airplane in order to engage the brake on the wind-driven chemical pump. At the moment the airplane stalled and the brake was applied, the nose of the aircraft dropped to an attitude nearly vertical relative to the terrain.
Response and Collision
The pilot then applied full power, but the engine failed to respond. Subsequently, the airplane collided with the terrain in a nose-down attitude.
