Accident Details
According to the investigation, the accident occurred during the takeoff roll. The pilot rotated the aircraft at a speed of 60 miles per hour with flaps set to 10 degrees. This speed corresponds to the stall speed of the aircraft in that configuration at maximum gross weight.
After rotation, the aircraft climbed to approximately 100 feet above ground level. Shortly thereafter, it nosed over and descended into the ground. The event was observed by tower controllers.
