Accident Overview
A pilot reported that during the landing flare on runway 19, the airplane began drifting left. The pilot applied full power to execute a go-around. Shortly after, a strong gust of wind raised the right wing, causing the airplane to veer and strike trees located east of the runway.

The pilot stated that the windsock indicated winds from 270 degrees at 8 to 10 knots prior to landing. While flaring, the airplane drifted left, prompting the go-around. The pilot encountered a strong gust that raised the right wing, leading to loss of control and collision with trees.
