Accident Details
During the landing rollout on Runway 23 at Doylestown Airport in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, the airplane encountered a turbulent gust of wind. The right wing rose abruptly, prompting the pilot to apply full aileron and nearly full rudder input to counter the deviation. Despite these control inputs, the airplane veered to the left, departed the runway surface, and collided with a wind sock pole and wind tee.
